Before You Begin...

Here's the sacred self-love activation

It's designed to be listened to everyday and it helps to shift your inner vibration - I like to listen while meditating or more often than not, while I am doing some kind of movement (like walking or dancing or yoga-ing) 💓

Session 1: Usher in a New Era

How to set powerful intentions:

Good to know:

Your brain will help you to create what you think even if it is not currently real - it can’t tell the difference between what’s real and what you tell it so start telling yourself nice things!
Being intentional in this way sends out a frequency that the Universe will match and bring back to you.
It also activates the brain's confirmation bias responses - i.e. the brain changes the way it looks at the world to try to find data to support what you are telling it.
There is no way to get this wrong!
You may need to set your doubting mind to the side and allow yourself to just experiment and see what happens! Try telling the inner cynic "Thanks for your input, but let's just TRY this and see what happens"
This works for any kind of intention that you want to set (for example - I used this process to set an intention for how I wanted to send my maternity period at my old job, or how I wanted my family to navigate and experience lockdown)

OK - Let’s go!

Grab your journal and write out your intention:
Use language that makes you wet or gets you hard - like seriously! You want this to feel so goddam juicy and attractive that it lights your soul up - if you feel MEH about it, then re-write it!!
Leave space for the Universe to surprise you with EVEN more magic than you can imagine - trust me, SHE loves to over deliver, but you have to leave the door open for it.
Keep the language first person (me I)
Use present tense “I am” “I love” etc
Stay with the positives - so “I am full of energy” rather than “I’m not tired anymore”
Get quiet where you won’t be disturbed. Light a candle to symbolise that you are shifting into sacred communion.
Get still, breathe for a few minutes hand on heart, connecting to your deepest soul self.
When you feel ready, read your Intention.
Start with: Dearest Universe (or substitute for language that works for you) and all that is sacred to me personally, I am declaring to you right now that THIS is my intention:
Finish with: Dearest Universe and all that is sacred to me personally, I have declared this to you right now - AND SO IT IS.
Bring a smile to your lips and feel the emotion behind the words as you read them outloud to the Universe (or whatever you believe in)
Blow out your candle to show that the ceremony / intention setting has finished.

Here’s mine as an example:

“Dearest Universe (or substitute for language that works for you) and all that is sacred to me personally, I am declaring to you right now that THIS is my intention:
I love to and consistently cultivate small and manageable practices that nudge me in the direction of an even deeper more expansive self-love affair. It feels DIVINE. I come to know, trust and honour myself in ways that are currently unimaginable to me but feel better than I could ever have dreamed. My relationship with the Universe grows closer and stronger and more profound with every breath of every day and I notice all the magic of my life. I hold myself with reverence and compassion and self-love regardless of anything outside of me. I am patient and courageous as I move with kindness through the world. I am open to the magic of the Universe in ways that surprise and delight me everyday.
Dearest Universe and all that is sacred to me personally, I have declared this to you right now - AND SO IT IS.”

You can re-read this everyday, reaffirm it everyday, tinker with it, whatever you like, or if you are kinda lazy like me - stuff it in a book only to forget about it and then realise in a year’s time - ‘holy shit it all happened!’
Just KNOW that this kind of powerful intention setting sends out ripples to the Universe and those waves always bounce off the shore and come back to you.

What we cover in this live

Compassion - there’s nothing wrong with you - we are NOT evolved to live the way we are!!! Be compassionate you are having a totally normal response to a way of living that is totally out of alignment with us as a species!! No one has ever taught you how to take care of yourself

What self-love is: Fun, kindness, compassion, enoughness, strong personal boundaries. Finding what LIGHTS your soul on fire. Joy. Divine Discipline and flow.

What self-love isn’t: TOXIC positivity, Rigid rules and routines that make you feel resentful and not enough. An extra job on your to-do list.

I set the intention this week to create a powerful and loving container. To show up  with quiet courage and complete authenticity. To share from my heart so that it speaks to the hearts and souls of everyone who receives these teachings.  My intention is to practice what I preach by showing up unafraid of getting it wrong or not being good enough or being seen as weird. I set the intention to lead and teach from the heart as a pure channel for the Divine. I trust what comes through. I set the intention that every person receives exactly what they need.I set the intention to listen and serve with and open and curious heart seeking to understand first and teach second. I set the intention to have fun and teach to the best of my ability knowing that that is enough and that I AM ENOUGH. And so it is. Thank you.

Why is it spiritual? Playfulness, expression of the Divine within you, everything that holds you back from loving yourself is a distortion of what makes you YOU and magical.

Why is it radical? because we live in a society of comparison, a society of not-enoughness, fuelled by consumption and when you feel enough you don’t consume. It’s radical because seeing beyond the status quo and living life on your own terms is a truly radical and courageous act.

AWARENESS is the first step. We have to be able to take stock and to start to NOTICE all the shit stirring that we do with ourselves. This is why we practice mindfulness.

Where are you on the scale? How was the Quiz?

Where are you at and where do you want to go? How easy is it for you to connect to a more loving way of being.

Different areas that we can consider, there are many more - but these are the ones that I have worked with and that I cover a lot in the Self-Love Sanctuary. Patterns of sabotage:   Mind (self-talk,, not enoughness, hiding parts of yourself, supressing and rejecting parts of yourself), Emotions (toxic positivity, victim mentality, allowing all emotions to be welcome), body, boundaries, relationships, spirituality.

Journaling prompts:

The wonderful ways I self-sabotage are...

When I think of feelings of not-enoughness I think of...

But I am know I enough because...

This is what it means to feel completely worthy RIGHT now

What do boundaries mean to me for?

How would boundaries help me to feel safer?

My inner self talk is…

I would like it to be….

My Sacred Self-Love intention is...

Session 2: Honouring the vessel

Power Posing this is one of my favourite hacks to teach in yoga class!
Power Posing is an amazing way to increase your confidence and presence before a stressful event where you need to shine!
I’ve coached people to use it before exams, international conferences and even before going live on social media 🤣
Here’s the TED talk by Dr Amy Cuddy and the book she wrote, “Presence”, is amazing if you want to go deeper and learn the science behind it.
Highly recommended for anyone suffering with confidence issues (and for youngsters taking exams etc)

Self-Compassion for your body - a guided meditation I made for my membership last year.
If you didn't score where you wanted in the 'Body' part of the quiz, here's a cheeky little guided meditation for you - it's only ten mins 🙂

What we cover in this Live

Honouring the vessel, kindness, compassion and the joy of embodied movement and pleasure

Finding movement practices that we ADORE

Seeing how movement affects our physiology - PRESENCE, power posing, strength, Green Exercise

Recognising that rest and relaxation is as important as cardio (come back to this Thursday)

A livestream yoga practice for self-love.

Share a little about my story - put off P.E.

Shamed about my body

Fell in love with yoga and walking

Why I love yoga and see it as such a powerful force - drop from brain into body. Meditative quality disrupts default mode network of brain similar to meditation and with physical benefits of movement (lymphatic system) integrates deeper presence and soul connection whilst cultivating a sense of connection to the Divine. Move with grace. Embody Grace, strength and flow.

Journal prompts around reconnecting to your body for strength, pleasure and play:

When I connected to my body I felt...

The things I love about my body are...

The things I dislike about my body are...

The following things are currently stopping me from loving my body the way I desire

I would love to create a loving co-operative and nurturing relationship with my body because

It would help me to embody the following feelings ...

And these would serve me because...

And it would serve the following people because...

If I was in a fully loving relationship with my sacred vessel I would...

Session 3: Welcoming the Shadow

Live Group Call

What we cover in this Live

What is the Shadow:

It’s a term that Carl Jung came up with and it relates to the parts of ourselves that are lurking in the unconscious. I think of it as the parts we don’t want to admit to having - the parts that we repress or reject, often as a result of childhood. It’s not that these parts are negative it’s that we have judged them to be.

The parts that you have judged or been judged for. The parts you have deemed unsafe or unloveable.

The repressed. The rejected.

It’s not that these things are necessarily wrong or damaging - it’s all in the eyes of the beholder - it’s rejecting parts of ourselves that we perceive to be weak or undesirable or shameful.

Why is it important?

What lurks in the shadows of the subconscious and unconscious has an effect it bubbles out into everyday life in unhelpful ways - take anger

What we reject and suppress festers - it lurks in the shadows and controls our behaviour without us even being consciously aware of it.

There is often magic and gifts contained within the integration of the shadow - for example we may have repressed our effervescence as we were told we were too much - but actually that joy and sparkle allows us to lift up and connect with others. Or we have judged ourselves to be ‘Lazy’ but in fact that ‘laziness is our gateway to creativity, altered states and receptivity to the Divine.

We can only meet others as deeply as we have met ourselves - so if you are repressing parts of yourself you have no tolerance or compassion for that in others.

How does it relate to self-love?

On the journey of self-love, when we haven’t felt good enough, we can often put positive aspects of ourselves into the shadow realm.

It’s part of the process of understanding that we don’t have to be perfect.

Retrieving these parts of ourselves leads to integration and self-awareness and self-love. Self love is about accepting ALL of who we are including the parts that we deem less desirable.

How do the archetypal Male and Female energies relate to shadow work?

Masculine and feminine energy archetypes/left and right hemispheres of the brain.

We are often dominant in one energy (and it down't necessarily relate to our biological gender). This dominance can stop us accessing our full range of gifts and full range of human expression.

Working with the Shadow:

Awareness bringing the unconscious into conscious awareness and then integration. Expression - allowing anger, frustration etc to move through you. Forgiving yourself for all the times you have not been who you think you should be.

Claiming parts of ourselves that we reject - this might be the ‘bad girl’ the rebel, our anger, our fear, our sensitivity, our fire, our power.

Judgement of others and and feeling triggered by others and their actions/successes etc can be a sign of unintegrated shadow.

Journaling prompts:

Do I feel like I am more connected to my masculine or feminine energy?

In what ways does my Feminine energy express itself?

How could I express it more?

In what ways does my Masculine energy express itself?

How could I express it more?

What did I notice coming up to be seen in the underworld?

How did that make me feel?

What and/or who did my shadow self ask me to forgive?

What did my shadow self ask me to express?

Is there a part of me I need to forgive and welcome back into the light?

Is there a part of me that I need to claim and welcome back?

What do I need to honour more going forwards?

Session 4: Dare to Dream - activating the SACRED in SACRED SELF-LOVE

When you are daring to dream and envision outside of your current reality, it is important to be able to connect to your intuition. Think of your intuition like a inner compass.

So often we are taught to disregard our intuitive knowing, but on the Sacred Self-Love path, it's one of your greatest allies.

This guided meditation is designed to support you in reconnecting to this inner wisdom.

Enjoy!

Sacred Ceremony to meet the You of your dreams

In this powerful activation ceremony, we journeyed into a realm of pure light and energetic frequency - we received the love of pure energy and stepped through a portal to merge with our infinite and truly self-loving selves.

We called in the Divine energy to support us on this journey.

Journaling prompts:

What the dream me look like?

What did she feel like to me?

What message did she have for me?

What next steps did she want to share?

What have I discovered about myself in this challenge?

What would I like to practice more?

Where should I go from here?
